Saima Begum has been re-elected and Kevin Gutsell has been elected
Results of the Association of British Dispensing Opticians’ (ABDO) board elections have been announced, with the new board taking office on September 4.
Saima Begum has been re-elected and Kevin Gutsell has been elected after a short break from the board. John Hardman and Les Thomas were unsuccessful in seeking election.
Jo Holmes, president of ABDO, said: “I am delighted that Saima Begum has been elected after three years excellent service on the ABDO board. I am also very pleased that we will be welcoming back Kevin Gutsell, who has played a significant role in developing the profession over many years.’
