ABDO College renews lease on Kent premises

Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) College has renewed the lease on its premises at Godmersham Park near Canterbury in Kent.

The Grade 1 listed building has been the site of ophthalmic dispensing training for students since 2001.

General Secretary of ABDO Sir Anthony Garrett said: ‘I am delighted that the Trustees have been able to extend the lease on College until December 2040. This provides the highly capable academic and support staff with the reassurance that the College will remain at Godmersham for many years to come. It is also a clear signal to employers and future students that the College is determined to remain at the forefront of ophthalmic dispensing studies.’
