ABDO College has announced that Rian Love will be its new courses coordinator for optical support programmes.
Love is a dispensing optician who has worked as a tutor for ABDO College and the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers.
Jo Underwood, ABDO College principal said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Rian Love to the ABDO College team as our new Courses Coordinator. Rian brings an extensive range of experience to the department which will help him to shape and develop our Optical Support Programme offering to students in the years ahead. The College ABDO team is looking forward to working with Rian as he takes up his new role.’
Love added: ‘I want to help students feel supported. It’s not that long since I was a student and I want to use my recent experience in this role, adding to the extensive experience of the ABDO College staff.’
