ABDO launches Become an Independent Optician event

The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) has announced its Become an Independent Optician event.

The session will include independent practice owners speaking about the key to business success and experts from organisations such as SightCare, The AIO Practice Support Network and the National Eyecare Group will share their experiences of supporting independent practice owners.

Along with ABDO president Clive Marchant, they will help to answer questions about owning a business, challenges to overcome, benefits and advantages of running your own practice and how to acquire your first practice.

The event will take place at the ABDO National Resource Centre in Birmingham on May 21, between 3.30-6.30pm.
