ABDO trains in workplace management

The Association of British Dispensing Opticians announced its two upcoming Change Management and Conflict Management 1-day Workshops in August at its National Resource Centre in Birmingham.

Change Management will be on August 16, and Conflict Management will be on August 17.

The change training session will provide practice managers and owners an opportunity to learn about creating successful change in the workplace, supporting individuals and teams through change, and implementing and monitoring change, such as new legislation, improved technologies, business expansions and market changes.

It also offered a workshop to learn and talk through real-life conflict challenges, such as types and causes, impacts on organisational performance, processes for investigating workplace conflict situations, and the knowledge and skills to manage them.
