ACLM appoints new chairman

Gordon Jones has been appointed as the new chairman of The Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM).

Jones has been involved with contact lenses since 1972, having been a past master of the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers (WCSM) and a long-standing board member of mark’ennovoy Personalised Care.

At its AGM at the start of May, the ACLM agreed to further develop the UK contact lens market and work closely with the Optical Confederations and all other UK optical bodies.
