Group 1: Employed GOC registered optometrist
Group 2: Locum/self employed GOC registered optometrist
Group 3: GOC registered optometrist who is a director of a company which is registered as a body corporate with the GOC
Any of these three groups could enter the ophthalmic list through the grandfathering clause.
The practice would need to apply on your behalf. If you are employed or a locum, check the legal status of this with your employer before agreeing to this.
