Reiss Eyewear is named after the high-street clothing brand and available through frame firm Andrew Actman.
The line is described by the company as bridging the gap between high street and international designer brands. 'Reiss eyewear offers a unique concept with inspirational product design and affordability for men and women,' said Actman, who added that the range was distinctive and tailored to capture individual looks.
There are eight men's styles that are described as masculine, with strong, chunky sides and acute angular eye rims for sharp definition, for example frame model RM001 which has deep eye rims and raised relief on the sides to offset the smooth silhouette.
The woman's collection is described as delicate by contrast, with contemporary decoration, that is feminine and with 'an array of seasonal hues' across all six styles. Model RW004 is described as lightly modelled with a graceful line, with a sharp clarity of design around the oval lenses.
There is also a twist in the temple for a subtle change of direction, with light sides that blend into complementary finished acetate temple tips.
The company added that attention to detail didn't stop with the frames as the complete package was designed to closely reflect and reinforce the values and direction of the brand. There is a luxury cloth, a cream case dressed in frosted plastic and a boutique-style bag.
