Adidas is to supply neon blue, evil eye halfrim pro cycling eyewear to the Movistar professional cycling team for the 2012 season.
The evil eye sportswear is colour coordinated with the Spanish cycling team's colours and will feature as part of its kit during participation in world road cycling events during the year. Team marketing director Juan Pablo Molinero said the evil eye made an impact in appearance with its colour and in performance with its functional frame and high quality optics.
The frame has been designed to lie flat against the cyclist's head for a more comfortable fit and has features such as adjustable nose pads and a sweat blocker to prevent moisture or the wind getting into the eyes and distracting the rider. In 2012 a range of new colours has been developed for the evil eye halfrim pro available to opticians.
