Alcon boosts online CL ordering tool

Alcon has announced that it will be launching an enhancement to its online ordering system in the UK and Ireland that will allow practitioners to fully manage their contact lens patients.

Online options included registering new patients for automatic repeat auto-shipments, amending existing patient details, triggering ad-hoc orders and downloading customisable patient lists.

Customers would no longer have to telephone Alcon’s customer services team to make the changes, a statement said.
