Global eye care company Alcon has this week announced the launch of its new website, with a view to placing opticians ‘at the heart of the journey’.
Informed by the brand’s core principles, the website would act as the company’s central hub of information and offers two new services.
The first is the InContact service, which enables optician practices to offer online ordering, home delivery and subscription programmes. The EasyOnline customer ordering platform is the second feature to be added.
Jonathon Bench, Head of Professional Affairs at Alcon, explained the significance of the changes to the site.
‘This is a website that has been built by opticians, for opticians and their teams. We want to continue to develop the content towards a more personalised and user-friendly offering and invite opticians and their teams to visit regularly to benefit from new and updated content,’ he said.
