The first prize of a computer package from Alcon's Opti-1 Detail Aid competition was presented recently to James Dickson, director at Glasgow's Specsavers practice. Entrants were required to answer questions on Opti-1 and write a tie-breaker on why they thought the product was a superior multi-purpose solution.
Runners up included Mark Pagan, practitioner from Cleveland-based opticians Pagan & McQuade, who received an ophthalmoscope. Other regional runners up received prizes of televisions, cameras, electronic organisers and watches.
