Italian eyewear firm Allison has announced plans to move back to its old home of Volta Mantovana from December.
The company was founded in the village 56 years ago but moved to Padova in 1999.
Its Volta Mantovana offices, showroom, production lab and logistics hub are set in an area of 18,000 square metres fully owned by the company. The facilities were set for modernisation before Allison made its return, a statement said.
‘We are convinced that the old home will provide serenity alongside new business potential and furthermore add proof that the long term strategy of the company is secure,’ it added.
