Care centre opened by Bayer and Bradford Teaching Hospitals
A new AMD care centre has been opened by Bayer and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTHFT).
The new service will double the capacity of the existing unit and ease pressure on the service.
Consultant ophthalmic surgeon Helen Devonport said: ‘The new centre has enabled us to increase the number of clinics from five per week, run over two and a half days, to 10 clinics per week over 5 days.’
