Thieves stole over 350 top-end frames with a combined retail value of €90,000 from a practice in Cork while a similar raid in County Tipperary also amounted to thousands of euros in lost stock, reported The Daily Mail (February 6).

AOP Ireland chief executive Peter Coleman said after the raid on O'Mahoney's in Mitchelstown: 'We immediately sent a text message out that everybody should review their security.'
