AOP encourages parents to book a sight test for their children
The AOP (Association of Optometrists) has launched a campaign to encourage parents to book a sight test for their children.
Called A B See, the campaign has been started as 52% of parents with children at school believed that their child would have an eye sight test when they start primary school and 24% of four to 16-year olds had never been taken to an eye examination by their parents, who often wait for their child to show a behaviour such as sitting too close to the television before taking them to the opticians.
