The Association of Optometrists (AOP) has confirmed plans to reduce its OT journal to a monthly format in response to feedback from its members.
Following market research among its readers, the publication will change to a monthly frequency from next month.
In further changes, the association will reveal a new brand identity across a single website. The organisation outlined improvements to its website, where full online access would be restricted to AOP members and OT subscribers.
Its final fortnightly edition of OT would be published on 26 September.
The AOP said it would be in contact with members, OT subscribers and non-members over the coming weeks with more information about the changes.
