App improvements for retinal camera system

Imageselect, the app used in conjunction with the D-Eye portable smartphone-based ophthalmoscope, has received several performance and functionality updates to simplify clinician-based screenings.

The upgrade allows the user to convert high definition videos into single images, edit, store and immediately share with other practitioners for further patient assessment. Clicians can select specific frames from 30-second recorded videos and save them as individual images to the patient record, as well as pre-setting and post editing and enhancement of images.

D-Eye and the D-Eye 2.0 app can be used with the iPhone 5, 5S, SE, 6, 6S, 6+, and 6S+ with the introduction of the iPhone 7 early next month.
