Apple launches AR headset

Apple has launched Vision Pro, a wearable augmented reality headset that is operated by the user’s eyes, hands and voice.

The $3,499 device makes use of a feature called EyeSight that was designed to help users stay connected with those around them while using Vision Pro.

When a person approaches someone wearing Vision Pro, the device lets the user see them while also displaying their eyes, or it gives visual cues to others about what the user is focused on.

Apple said users who require vision correction can make use of Zeiss Optical inserts to ensure visual fidelity and eye tracking accuracy.
