Apply for John Lee Primer Fellowships for research into sight loss

Fight For Sight and The Royal College of Ophthalmologists have invited people to apply for John Lee Primer Fellowships for research into sight loss.

The fellowships will offer up to £60,000 that will go towards vision research undertook by ophthalmologists in the early stages of the careers. The scheme has been designed for successful applicants to complete a PhD afterwards.

Fight for Sight’s head of research Dr Rubina Ahmed said: ‘It’s a pleasure to work in partnership with The Royal College of Ophthalmologists to offer these prestigious awards. By investing in the early-stage research careers of ophthalmologists, we hope to develop and strengthen their skills and enable them to continue their research alongside their clinical careers.’
