Armani makes it round again

Luxottica has released its first collections of Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani eyewear since the agreement of a new licensing deal last year. 'The new collections have been inspired by the traditional cornerstones of its success story: minimalism, linearity, the "less is more" motto and the concept of timeless elegance,' said a Luxottica spokesperson.

The Emporio Armani EA 3001 (1)and Armani AR 7002 (2) are two of the key styles from the new ophthalmic ranges. The EA 3001 has a simple and wearable rectangular shape, but temple design is more interesting, with a sculpted design and crystal acetate against a solid hue. The AR 7002 frame updates the classic panto shape with an on-trend frosted colour scheme and a plaque on the temples which bears the manufacturer logo.
