​Metro Blind Sport will host its Metro Athletics Open on June 24 in London

Metro Blind Sport will host its Metro Athletics Open on June 24 at Mile End Athletics Track in London, which will see blind and partially sighted athletes compete.

The event, run in accordance with UK Athletics and International Blind Sports Association’s rules, will be part of the charity’s 50th anniversary celebrations in 2023.

Individuals of all ages and abilities were invited to take part in the day, which will include track and field events, such as 100m, 5km, discus and shotput.

Metro Blind Sport is a London-based charity that provides opportunities for blind and partially sighted people to access sport and physical activity.
