Audiologist recognised by Scrivens

Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care has honoured audiologist Stuart Spencer with its highest accolade, the Sascha Georgevic Award, at its annual conference.  

Chair of the company, Nicholas Georgevic, said: ‘Stuart is hugely respected and valued and well deserving of this recognition. We can't think of anyone else who has done more to help to train and develop so many Scrivens hearing aid audiologists since he started with us 42 years ago.’  

Spencer joined Scrivens as a trainee hearing aid dispenser and went on to become a training manager and part of the group’s professional services team.  

He said: ‘I have enjoyed a long career and I am grateful to Scrivens for giving me the opportunity to expand my scope of practice and move into other areas of work, such as working with Aston University and becoming a partner with the Health and Care Professions Council.’
