Audiology appointment at Bayfields

Bayfields Opticians and Audiologists has appointed Rob Ormerod as head of audiology to lead a recruitment drive and rollout of hearing services at the group’s 38 practices.

Ormerod has previous experience as retail excellence manager at hearing aid retailer Amplifon and has held roles in commercial management across audiology and the wider health sector for 17 years, including for Boots Hearingcare and the NHS.

Ormerod commented: ‘There is a great mix of very talented people already within the business, and in coming months, recruitment will be a priority to ensure we can expand audiology services at the pace and level of quality we want to achieve.’
