Awards judges reveal final four shortlists

Finalists in the final four categories of the Optician Awards 2013 have been announced ahead of the presentation ceremony on April 13.

The remaining finalists, which were not announced last week (Optician 15.02.13), are for the Product Awards and the Optical Supplier of the Year Award (see panel right). For a full rundown of all category shortlists go to www.opticianawards.com.

The winners of all 17 awards will be announced at a glittering black tie bash which will be held at the Hilton Metropole next to the NEC in the Midlands on April 13, the Saturday night of the Optrafair weekend.

The Awards night is one of the highlights of the optical calendar. Around 500 guests will gather at a drinks reception before moving through to a top class dinner and the presentation hosted by an A-list celebrity. The evening will also feature a stunning AV show, dancing to a live band, a charity casino sponsored by GfK, plus a few other surprises along the way.
