Bambo lead for Franco

BAMBOO LEAD: Actor, writer and director James Franco has been cast as the lead role of Gucci’s autumn and winter eyewear campaign wearing the new Black Bamboo sunglasses manufactured by Safilo. The campaign, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott will be launched in August and was said to show ‘the classic yet contemporary elegance of this new style, perfectly matched with Franco’s sophisticated personality.’ The Bamboo sunglasses come with a chocolate-brown leather hard case bearing the gold Gucci logo.
