Bateman Opticians acquires R N Roberts Optometrists

Blackwood-based Bateman Opticians has acquired three R N Roberts Optometrists practices in Cardiff and Newport as the independent looks to grow its presence in South Wales.

Bateman Opticians was opened five years ago by optometrist Elliot Bateman after he acquired Peter Hong Opticians, which had operated in Blackwood for over 30 years.

‘I am really excited for the R N Roberts practices to be joining our family and am looking forward to seeing the group go from strength to strength in the years ahead as we aim to be the first choice for eye care in South Wales,’ Bateman said.
