BBR joins Hakim Group

Optician Award-winning BBR Optometry has become the latest independent practice to join the Hakim Group.

The Herefordshire-based practice, which celebrated its 50^th anniversary in 2019, will now be able to call upon the back-office support system and infrastructure of the Hakim Group while retaining its identity in the local area.

A joint statement said the Covid-19 pandemic had given BBR Optometry a clearer focus as a practice and wanted to emerge as stronger business and an intact team. The two companies said BBR’s successful integration of independent prescribing could also be utilised by the wider Hakim Group in future.
