BCLA conference goes virtual

The BCLA's UK Conference and Exhibition will now be held virtually via an online live-stream

The British Contact Lens Association’s (BCLA) UK Conference and Exhibition will now be held virtually via an online live-stream, due to the UK government’s coronavirus guidance.

Luke Stevens-Burt, the BCLA’s chief executive, said: ‘While it’s very disappointing not to be able to stage the event in person, we’re delighted BCLA UK will still be going ahead in an exciting new digital format, reaching even more people around the world.’

Anyone that was registered to attend the Birmingham event will be automatically transferred to the online event, which will include a new virtual exhibition and GOC-approved interactive CET.
