Business issues in contact lenses were on the agenda when UK practitioners Nick Rumney and Shelly Bansal joined US speakers for the first Global Contact Lens Forum in New York last week (March 26-27).
The CET meeting was a collaboration between the British Contact Lens Association and International Vision Expo. It will be followed by a second meeting, at this year’s BCLA Clinical Conference in Birmingham (June 6-9), when presenters from the US will bring their perspective to business topics and therapeutics.
Rumney, the BCLA’s conference programme co-ordinator, said Vision Expo offered a model of excellence and its business solutions were an exact fit.
