BCLA joins forces with MCLOSA for conference programme

The BCLA has announced it will team up with the MCLOSA at the BCLA Visionaries conference

The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) has announced it will team up with the Medical Contact Lens and Ocular Surface Association (MCLOSA) to present a joint programme at the BCLA Visionaries conference later this year.

This is to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the MCLOSA, a sub specialist ophthalmology interest group that focuses on the cornea and external eye disease.

Professor Sunil Shah, new president of the BCLA, said that the partnership has the potential to improve clinical care.

‘A joint conference with MCLOSA, which I hope will be the first of many, will allow the multidisciplinary group that forms the BCLA to interact with the MCLOSA members to the benefit of both groups and hence ultimately the clinical care that is provided.’
