Luke Stevens-Burt will join the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) as its new chief executive

Luke Stevens-Burt will join the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) as its new chief executive later in April.
Writing in an open letter to the BCLA membership, Stevens-Burt said: ‘I foresee the BCLA achieving success through the brand being synonymous with career and professional development and raising the profile of the profession.
‘It needs to be seen as a leading stakeholder by both the profession and the public.’ The letter goes on to detail Stevens-Burt’s interest in advanced technology, information systems and smart contact lenses as well as bolstering membership support.
Stevens-Burt will succeed Cheryl Donnelly, who left the BCLA on March 27 after six years.
