Hundreds of contact lens practitioners headed to the Belfry in Birmingham earlier this week for BCLA UK.
The downsized UK event, with the usual BCLA Conference and Exhibition now being held biennially, included stands plus lectures on contact lenses and children, aftercare, compliance and innovation. A Room 101-style event saw contact lens experts discuss what should be lost from current fitting routines, in a session chaired by Canadian-based BCLA fellow professor Lyndon Jones.
Delegates were also invited to the BCLA dinner and attended the Belfry nightclub venue during the two-day event.
