Coopervision raises awareness of impact of digital device usage

Contact lens manufacturer Coopervision recently hosted several health, beauty and lifestyle bloggers at Focalpoint Opticians in south-west London to raise awareness of the impact of prolonged digital device usage and highlight the various options available to consumers.

After a presentation of statistics and common symptoms of digital eye fatigue, the bloggers had the opportunity to try the company’s new silicone hydrogel contact lens for digital lifestyles, Biofinity Energys.

Lifestyle blogger Sheenie Shaikh, from Just Nice Things, said: ‘The fitting was an enjoyable experience and I learned a great deal about the lenses. I’ve been wearing them every day and amazingly not once experienced any discomfort or dryness. I checked my watch around 2pm as that’s usually when I start to feel it but I’m pleased to say this wasn’t the case with these lenses.’
