‘Best of British’ theme for pioneers conference

An all-UK speaker line-up has been confirmed for next month’s British Contact Lens Association’s Pioneers Conference as part of its ‘Best of British’ theme.

‘We’ll be celebrating all things British this year,’ said honorary Pioneers conference organiser, Nigel Burnett Hodd. The programme, on November 20 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, will include a panel of experts including Burnett Hodd, Chris Kerr, Judith Morris, Richard Pearson, Tim Bowden, Andrew Gasson and David Newlove, looking back over 60 years of contact lens history.

Sessions on surgery, technology and business will then be followed by the hour-long Pioneers Lecture by Professor James Wolffsohn.
