Nicholas Bateman of John Harwood Optometrists has picked up an Anyview Dispensing Tablet prize eight months after entering a competition. The Woking-based practitioner entered the draw in April 2011 at Optrafair, before receiving the latest version of the Anypad tablet last month.
Presented with the prize by BiB's Steve Edwards, Bateman (right) said: 'As Harwood's is celebrating its first centenary this year, I can think of nothing better than starting the second centenary by dispensing using the Anypad.'
Tim Baker, CEO of UK distributors BiB, said: 'There have been a number of innovative updates in technology and functionality since the prototypes were first exhibited at Optrafair and I felt it was only fair that the competition winner received the most up-to-date version.'
