Big three back Eyecare Group

Ciba Vision is to join CooperVision and Bausch & Lomb in helping the 900 members of the independents only National Eyecare Group improve their contact lens offer.

The Vision Now own-brand - produced and supported by CooperVision - has been re-launched, and this month B&L has improved discounts, offering members who promote its lenses as first choice an 'advanced discount level'.

Ciba Vision will provide discounts to members from the end of May, which will be backed by the company's television advertising campaign.

Phil Mullins, National Eyecare Group's business development manager, said: 'All three suppliers are committed to the independent optician.'
