Birmingham Optical group chief executive officer Chris Tyler is pictured presenting a cheque for £1,250 to Vision Care's Edwin Achu.
Said Tyler: 'As a leading UK provider of eye care diagnostics I feel we have an obligation to channel some of the revenue obtained from the mature market to charitable projects where our funds can give individuals the gift of sight. What better present can there be? This is a long-standing tradition from the company and one very much endorsed by our loyal customer base.'
Founder of Vision Care, Harinder Paul said: 'We really appreciate this generous donation from Birmingham Optical. Every £50 donated provides an eye test and spectacles for five homeless people. This large contribution will help over 100 homeless people.'
