Bausch & Lomb has launched a new educational initiative with a series of one-day events around the country.
The inaugural event of the Bausch & Lomb Academy of Vision Care was held in London on March 4. Gareth Steer, managing director for the UK, Nordic and Netherlands, told delegates that the lecture series marked the start of a renewed commitment and investment by B&L in education.
Steer acknowledged that the company had been quiet in this area over the past two years but said it had now added new resources and recruited additional professional services staff. 'We're committed to developing and investing further in professional education. Our goal is to support you as a partner,' he said.
