Black Friday frames rehab

Optical group Cubitts offered a complimentary frame rehab service on November 25 to tie into the annual discount shopping event, Black Friday.

While retailers typically use the event to boost sales of new products, eight of Cubitts stores offered a free service polishing, tightening and putting frames back together instead.

Customers were able to sign up for a rehab slot at Cubitts practices in Cambridge, Brighton, Leeds, and five London locations via the company’s website.

Additionally, Cubitts stores in Brighton and two London locations have begun accepting customer’s old Cubitts spectacles. The spectacles will be restored and sold with all profits donated to London Wildlife Trust.
