Scottish independent chain Black & Lizars has opened a new flagship practice in Edinburgh.
Located off Princes Street, the venue was opened last week following a £650,000 investment reported earlier in the year.
The property in Frederick Street was formerly a Santander building, with the company creating three new jobs in the area.
Mark Ross, chief executive of Black & Lizars, said: ‘All our staff, regular customers and suppliers are looking forward enormously to the opening of the Frederick Street store. It is a big event in eye care in Scotland.’
The new practice has advanced equipment with hearing and eye test areas and a basement housing a special area for children and sports eyewear clinic.
