Black & Lizars has agreed a three-year sponsorship with amateur rugby club Cartha Queen’s Park in Glasgow.
The sponsorship will include pitch side adverts featuring Black & Lizars’ branding at Dumbreck, where the club play home matches and complimentary eye exams for players. This will be part of Black & Lizars’ aim to raise awareness of the importance of eye health among rugby players.
Allan Beckett, director at Black & Lizars, said: ‘Cartha Queen’s Park are a forward-thinking community-based club working with hundreds of rugby players. This partnership will help us raise awareness of the importance of good eye care in the sport among players and spectators. Rugby players require good vision in order to make the right decisions on the pitch, so we would encourage all players, regardless of age, ability or experience, to ensure their eyes are checked regularly.’
