Blackfin: Reinterpreted classics

Modern reinventions of classic spectacles have been designed by Italian eyewear brand Blackfin for its Pacific range of titanium frames.

Blackfin said the collection took its name from the ocean that joins two worlds, as a representation of two cultures and ways of interpreting the design of 1940s glasses. Blackfin sought to create three contemporary and minimalist models that offer a retro-modern interpretation of a classic Japanese design.

The Big Sur model is a panto shape, Sierra (pictured) has bevelled contours and Mojave is a rounded square shape. Colour options are deliberately understated with matt and enamel accents paired with polished titanium.
