British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) president Susan Bowers will ask members if enough is being done to encourage children and young people to try contact lenses.
Held on the evening of September 24 at the Royal College of Physicians in London, the CET-approved presidential address will see Bowers discuss subjects such as increasing myopia in young myopes and hypermetropic eye length.
BCLA members may attend at no charge, along with one non-member guest each. A presidential dinner will take place after the event. Members can register their place online at www.bcla.org.uk. To make a dinner reservation, email events@bcla.org.uk or telephone the BCLA office on 020 7580 6661.
