Boots merges flagship stores

The most high profile practice merger to date has taken place with the bringing together of the flagship London stores of Dollond & Aitchison and Boots Opticians.

Thursday (June 10) marked the official opening of the new Boots Opticians at Sedley Place in London's Oxford Street. The merger combines the teams and patients from D&A's Regents Street store and Boots' existing Oxford Street practice. The formal opening was performed by long-time Boots patient and actor Edward Fox and his wife the actress Joanna David.
