Boots Opticians criticised for a frame display that featured pink and blue glasses
Boots Opticians was criticised on social media for a frame display that featured pink and blue glasses with what were described as sexist slogans.
Paul Trueman, from north Devon, tweeted a photo of the display in the unnamed practice. The glasses had the slogans ‘pretty as a princess’ next to pink frames and ‘super tough for super heroes’ next to the blue ones.
Boots Opticians apologised for any offence caused and said it was an isolated incident.
