Boutique practice owner spots gap for second location

Cheadle Hulme has a new fashion practice thanks to owner of Optician Award winning Albert Road Opticians, Deepak Oberai.

The boutique-style Station Road Optician was officially opened earlier this month by the mayor of Stockport, Linda Holt.

Oberai said: ‘Opening in Cheadle Hulme was a no brainer as it has such a community feel and I saw a gap in the market for a stylish optician. We have had such a warm reception from the public and hope to promote quality eye care with outstanding customer service which is our core strength.’

Despite the inclement weather on the day, several local celebrities and officials attended the launch party, including local councillors Suzanne Wyatt and Mark Hunter and actor Jane Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby in Coronation Street.
