B+L recruits new leadership talent

Bausch + Lomb appointed Asli Gevgilili and Al Waterhouse as new members of the executive leadership team as part of a restructuring. 

Starting this month, Gevgilili will be executive vice president and chief human resources officer and Waterhouse will be executive vice president and chief supply chain and operations officer. 

Gevgilili has held previous human resources leadership roles at pharmaceutical companies, while Waterhouse was in head roles at optical medical device companies. 

Jonathon Kellerman has also been recruited as chief compliance officer responsible for compliance, privacy and business transformation. 

This follows announcements in early June of a reshaping of its executive leadership team. 

Chairman and CEO Brent Saunders, who rejoined B+L in February, said: ‘Seizing the opportunity in front of us means acting swiftly, which is why I’ve been so focused on establishing a refreshed leadership team. It’s clear that people see our potential and want to be part of our journey based on the talent we’ve attracted.’
