Delegates from around the world descended on Hong Kong to view new collections and accessories at the 19th HKTDC Hong Kong Optical Fair. Over 600 exhibitors from 20 countries took part in the event, which organisers said was a new record.
Also breaking records was the Brand Name Gallery arena, which played host to over 150 manufacturers and designers.
First-time participants in the arena included Fiorucci, Guy Laroche, Kenzo, myDeary and the UK's TD Tom Davies. Alain Mikli used the fair to launch its new Subcrew by Mikli collaboration, which has seen the eyewear designer team up with the Hong Kong street fashion brand launched by artist Sam Lee in 2003.
