British eyewear company Brulimar Optical Group and fashion brand Kickers have signed an agreement which will see the creation of the brand’s first ever eyewear range for children and teenagers.

The new collection will be influenced by the colours and designs in the existing Kickers footwear range and will be officially launched at Optrafair London (April 11-13).

Brulimar Optical Group managing director Howard Librae said: ‘The brand has enjoyed sustained popularity over the years and its shoes and clothing are a British high street staple, making it ripe for extension into the optical sector.’

Kickers’ managing director Duncan Adams believed the move into eyewear was a key development in the evolution of the brand. ‘We feel that this step into the optical market will mark a great step forward for Kickers and we’re very much looking forward to launching next year,’ he said.
